Bournemouth Tannoy Incident

Without doubt the most infamous moment of my career. While setting up to interview Tottenham Hotspur fans after the Bournemouth vs Spurs game, I told my cameraman that the game had been "fu**ing unbelievable. Like men against boys." What we didn't realise was that the radio microphone was tuned to the same wavelength as the Bournemouth stadium's tannoy system. 

The incident went viral, getting picked up by all the major sports publications including BBC Sport, Sky Sports, ESPN, The Telegraph, The Mirror and The Mail Online Sport.

As a result I quickly released a video to explain my involvement so that the communications people working for Bournemouth weren't blamed. The video was seen 137k times on YouTube.
